Description
Pure broom honey, from our own apiary in the Sierra de Baza Natural Park. Diego’s bees are protected and guaranteed by regenerative beekeeping.
Reddish-brown colour, sweet taste with salty notes and floral aroma. This type of honey is of 100% Spanish origin, as broom is a typical bush of the Iberian Peninsula. It is harvested every other year, as the broom flowers every two years from April to June.
Every year Diego moves through different blooms: almond, albaida, orange blossom, rosemary, thyme, broom or savory… that’s why the type of syrup varies according to the season.
Honey is a very energetic food, as it has a high sugar content, between 70 and 80. With 25% fewer calories than conventional sugar (sucrose) but more sweetening power. It also has known digestive, regenerative and healing properties.
How to get to?
Your honey will arrive in a 3kg box containing 6 cans of 0.5kg.
