Welcome to Farmer's Farm

Regenerative agriculture

Daniel spent his childhood summers watching the organic almond trees grow on a small farm in Freila, a village in the Altiplano of Granada. The same almond trees that he now runs as a farmer, taking over from his father.

Why the almond? Because its regenerative cultivation, as Dani himself says, in this pre-sierra area is “very grateful”. By caring for the trees with regular pruning (which incorporates the canopy) and looking after the soil with organic fertiliser and minimally invasive tillage, an exquisite organic almond is achieved.

There are many stages in the almond growing cycle, from blossoming in March (for which it hosts regenerative beekeeping hives) to harvesting at the end of the summer. And in all of them Dani is present to supervise that the fruit is of the highest quality and respects the guidelines of regenerative agriculture.

De sus almendros ecológicos cosecha las variedades Guara, Marta, Antoñeta, Ferragnes, Constató, Comuna y, la joya de la corona, la Marcona. Then they can be bought skinned or peeled, or in other 100% almond clean label products such as flour, milk or cream.

The almond is a dry fruit rich in protein, healthy fats and fiber. They also provide vitamin E, potassium and antioxidants that will be the best allies for the health of your heart.

Its immense versatility, nutritional richness and gastronomic virtues make it a culinary gem, which is why it is one of the most appreciated and consumed nuts. Whether eaten raw as a snack or as an ingredient in sweets, creams or cold soups, organic almonds will always be the star ingredient.

For Farmers Farm, regenerative agriculture is not a new concept. These are agricultural practices that they have done all their lives, such as dunging, grazing their crops, irrigating naturally according to the rainfall or tending their own beehives.
