Welcome to Farmer's Farm

Regenerative agriculture

Following in his family’s footsteps in horticulture, Dani is a young organic garlic farmer. After researching and looking for a different crop that would do well in the area, he took the risk of planting organic garlic all over his farm in Freila with a model of regenerative agriculture.

In October and November he prepares the soil of this fertile plain next to the Negratín reservoir, an orchard that contrasts with the red earth of the desert of Gorafe in the Altiplano of Granada. The sowing has been accompanied by the cold of December and the harvest with the heat of summer in June.

Garlic, in addition to many health properties, has a high nutritional value and is a fundamental ingredient in the Mediterranean diet.

Dani, who works on his garlic farm all year round, knows that “he will get a lot” because the care and care of the crop is continuous. And, thanks to Farmers Farm, he wants to get them to people who value both the fruit and the work.

He is also clear that any farm should contribute to the protection of nature, in addition to producing cash crops. And that regenerative agriculture, rather than an agricultural model, is the best alliance to fight climate change and hunger.

For Farmers Farm, regenerative agriculture is not a new concept. These are agricultural practices that they have done all their lives, such as dunging, grazing their crops, irrigating naturally according to the rainfall or tending their own beehives.
